Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Phayao was established on October 25, 1980. The first two year nusing program was opened on  June 7, 1982. Later in 1997 the Bachelor degree of Nursing Science was founded.

    The college’s symbol is a lotus flower, derived from the sign of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinakarintra or the Princess mother of His Majesty King Phumiphol Adulyadej.

     The college is located beside, Kwan Phayao Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Thailand.
